Exterior wall painting is used to paint the walls and protect the walls. The materials used are very particular. Unlike the interior walls, it only requires aesthetics and cohesion. It requires greater responsibility, that is, to protect the interior walls. Whether it is a hot August or a cold January, the construction workers are responsible for smearing the outer walls evenly.
Preliminary construction preparation
The outer wall of the building is directly exposed to the air and must be exposed to wind, rain, and sun. If an outer film acts on the outer wall of the building, the service life of the building can be greatly enhanced. Based on this step, the decoration requirements are met again, and exterior wall coatings have received attention. Before painting the exterior wall paint, it is necessary to perform certain maintenance on the exterior wall. Make sure that the alkalinity PH value of the base layer is below 9 and the humidity should be less than 8%; the surface is flat, the inner and outer corners and corners are dense, and the outline is clear; Structural problems such as water seepage, no cracks, hollowing, and blistering holes. There is no powdered loose material, no oil, grease and other adherents. There are no obvious pits and bulges, and there are no flaws such as cracks. After all these are almost the same, we will start again.
Construction Conditions
Because exterior wall coatings are water-based coatings, the construction process conditions for exterior wall coatings are more stringent. The construction and maintenance temperature is higher than 5°C, and the ambient humidity should not be higher than 85%, in order to ensure good film formation. Low temperature will cause the problem of pulverization and cracking of the paint film of the paint. High ambient humidity usually makes the paint film unable to dry for a long time, which will eventually result in poor film formation. The exterior wall construction must consider weather factors. Before applying the paint, it has not rained for 12 hours to ensure that the base layer is dry. After painting, it should not rain for 24 hours to prevent the paint film from being washed away by rain.
When painting the exterior wall paint, it is best to use a short wool roller, and the painting should be in place to avoid sagging and missing coating.
The topcoat is applied only after these are completed, but before that, check whether the primer is missing and if it is contaminated. After finishing these, do the first topcoat construction, topcoat The brushing should be even and in the same direction.
Construction process
Repair the exterior wall → cleaning → fill putty, partial scraping putty → smoothing the wall surface → pasting glass fiber cloth → scraping the putty → smoothing again → primer construction → first pass top coat construction → second pass top coat construction, The above is the general process of the exterior wall coating construction process, which can be used as a reference for friends.
