Floor installation details: 1. Before installation, the ground should be cleaned, especially the place with “tumor” should be removed. 2. Arrange the wired, telephone and network cables well. 3. If the heating pipe groove on the wall is too large or deep, it is best to fill it with dry sand instead of sealing it with cement. 4. If there is renovation of water pipe or heating pipe, the installer must be notified in advance to avoid unnecessary trouble. 5. Sprinkle floor medicine, especially at the corners and doorways. 6. The installer is required to saw off the bottom of the door cover, and insert the floor under the door cover, so that the floor installation is stronger. 7. Lay out moisture-proof mats.
If it is a geothermal floor, you must use a special geothermal mat. 8. It is best to open the packing box before installation and check whether there are any missing corners on the floor surface (this kind of situation is rare, but it should be prevented). 9. Be sure to keep the floor and wall with 8mm telescopic space. 10. Be sure to make each room a self-contained plate (disconnect at the door, leaving room for expansion), if it is a large area, disconnect once every 8-10 meters span. 11. When installing the kicking line, it is best to use the yin and yang angle, because the yin and yang angle is used, the joint of the kicking line will be strong. 12. At the junction of floor and kitchen floor tiles, it is best to use copper or stainless steel strips, and never use ordinary plastic strips.
Precautions for wooden door installation: 1. Detect the ground moisture content: Use a moisture content tester to measure the ground moisture content. The requirement standard for ordinary ground is <20%, and the requirement standard for floor heating is <10%. If the ground moisture content is too high, the floor will easily absorb water and expand, causing problems such as floor arching, drumming, and noise. Therefore, if the ground moisture content exceeds the standard value, it must be dehumidified. 2. Check the flatness of the ground: Use a 2M leaning ruler to check the ground, and use a 3mm thick feeler gauge to check the gap between the leaning ruler and the ground.
If it fails, it will pass, and it will fail. If the ground is not level, it needs to be leveled with a spatula. If the situation is serious, re-leveling or self-leveling is required. If the flatness of the ground is not up to standard and paving, it will cause problems such as floor chipping, warping, arching, and noise. 3. Check whether the ground is solid: hit the ground with the handle of a screwdriver or a hammer to check whether the ground is hollow or peeling. If the ground has holes or peeling, you need to re-treat the ground. Otherwise, after laying the floor for a period of time, there will be noise because the ground is not solid. 4. Check whether there are termites in the environment: carefully observe whether there are termites around the room and furniture. Before floor paving, check and prevent termites must be done, otherwise the entire floor and even all wood products in the house will be seriously harmed.
5. Avoid cross-mixing work: The floor paving process should be carried out after the completion and acceptance of ground concealed works, ceiling works, wall works, and hydropower projects. Crossing operations are likely to cause damage to the floor. If the wall project is not completed, the gravel will fall. We need to pay attention to problems such as dusting and scratching of the floor, as well as problems such as splashing paint and coating on the floor and damaging the aesthetics of the floor. 6. Do you have good waterproof measures: the floor is afraid of water intrusion, and the floor will be blistered, degummed, deformed and other problems after water intrusion, making it unusable.
Therefore, it is necessary to check whether the waterproofing measures are well done before paving, whether there is water leakage in the house, if any, it should be treated before laying the floor. 7. Concealed project consultation and labeling: Please indicate the location of the concealed project in the room and make a prominent label to avoid damage to the embedded water pipes, air pipes, power lines and communication lines during the construction.
Floor installation method: 1. Direct method: directly glue the floor to the ground; this method is often used for geothermal floor installation. Applicable floor types: solid wood composite floor. 2. Suspended laying method: It is not connected to the ground and suspended on the ground (you can also add padding), but there is glue and no glue between the floor tongues and grooves; applicable floor types: laminate flooring, solid wood composite flooring, solid wood flooring.
3. The method of underlaying the fur floor: without the keel, directly use the fur floor as the underlay; applicable floor types: solid wood composite floor, solid wood floor. 4. Keel laying method: There are many materials for keel, the most traditional is wooden keel, plastic, aluminum alloy and so on. 1) Wooden keel: Drill holes on the ground, fix the wooden keel, level the upper surface of the wooden keel, and fix the floor on the keel with nails. The disadvantage is that it is easy to deform, causing the floor to make noise. Applicable floor types: solid wood flooring, solid wood composite flooring.
2) Plastic keel: The effect is the same as that of wooden keel. There are two types: chain type and track type. Installation and maintenance are convenient and economical. There is no need to drill holes and nails on the ground to damage the structure of the building. It is not easy to cause problems such as moth-eaten and decay of the keel. Disadvantages: strong specificity, little improvement on the unevenness of the ground. There is also the aging problem of plastic products. Applicable floor types: solid wood floors.
3) Aluminum alloy keel: Aluminum alloy is used as the keel, which has strong rigidity and has a positive effect on improving the unevenness of the ground; there is a sponge pad under the keel, which makes the feet feel comfortable. There is also no need to drill holes and nails on the ground to destroy the structure of the building. Because the aluminum alloy keel is laid flat and stable, it is not easy to cause problems such as deformation, looseness, moth eaten, decay, etc., and it can effectively avoid the noise caused by the deformation of the keel. Disadvantages: high cost of aluminum alloy keel. Applicable floor types: solid wood floors. 5. Laying method of fur floor keel: Add a layer of fur floor on the keel, and then lay the floor. Generally used in venues with special requirements, such as gymnasiums. Basically it is not necessary for home decoration.
Floor installation conditions: 1. Before laying the floor, the laminate floor should be left in the room for 24 hours to adapt it to the local climate. 2. The maximum relative humidity of the room is not higher than 20%. In case the ideal value cannot be reached, use appropriate products to make the foundation moisture-proof, such as fine carbon dust. 3. Laminate floor can only be used for suspension paving, that is, the laminate floor cannot be glued or nailed to the ground. 4. The ground should be level, dry and clean. 5. Leave a gap of 2.5-3cm between the door and the ground. 6. Skirting boards cannot be installed before the laminate floor construction.
