How to choose partition wall materials

Out of usage habits, there are still consumers using clay bricks as wall materials when building partition walls. In fact, in addition to being environmentally friendly, clay bricks also have the disadvantages of self-heavy weight and insufficient flatness. With the replacement of building materials Now there are many new wall materials that can be used to build partition walls. It can be roughly divided into four categories: block, prefabricated partition board, gypsum keel and glass brick. Compared with clay bricks, these materials are more environmentally friendly and have a smaller dead weight, making them more suitable as materials for partition walls.
·Blocks now generally refer to lightweight bricks. The materials of light-weight bricks are mostly industrial waste or leftover scraps, such as residual slag from industrial plants and mines, and fly ash discharged from power plants and boilers. Lightweight bricks are waste utilization and save resources. Lightweight bricks are lighter in weight, sturdy, durable, not easily deformed, can be nailed, and the price is relatively reasonable, generally 2.8-3.0 yuan per piece, but it is troublesome to dismantle, and transportation and handling are inconvenient.
·Materials such as gypsum, sand ash, etc. are mostly used for partition wall panels. After the factory is directly produced, they are spliced at the construction site. They are strong and durable. After the main structure of the building is completed, prefabricated partition panels are commonly used to separate the indoor layout. The prefabricated partition wall panels are large in size, the specifications are relatively fixed, and cannot be cut, and they are rarely used in the later decoration process. After laying the frame with the keel, it is sealed with gypsum board, which is the gypsum keel. The keel is divided into wood keel and light steel keel. The commonly used material of wood keel is pine, which has a variety of specifications and can also be processed. The light steel keel has a relatively fixed specification, and the thickness is generally only 75 mm. The gypsum keel has the lightest weight and is easy to disassemble, but the sound insulation and heat preservation effect is relatively poor.
·Glass brick, also known as hollow glass brick, is to glue two pieces of glass together by sintering. Use glass glue to mix cement during construction to close the edge gaps. Glass bricks have good sound insulation and heat preservation effects and can meet lighting requirements. The patterns and colors are rich and beautiful, but the cost is high, usually more than 20 yuan per block, and will not be used in large quantities in the later decoration process.
