How to use the level

A spirit level is a commonly used measuring tool for measuring small angles. In the machinery industry and instrument manufacturing, it is used to measure the inclination angle relative to the horizontal position, the flatness and straightness of the guide rails of machine tools, and the horizontal and vertical positions of equipment installation. According to the shape of the level gauge, it can be divided into: universal level gauge, cylindrical level gauge, integrated level gauge, mini level gauge, camera level gauge, frame level gauge, ruler level gauge; according to the fixed way of the level gauge, it can be divided into: adjustable level gauge and Non-adjustable spirit level.

Instrument characteristics
The spirit level is mainly used to test the straightness of the guide rails of various machine tools and other types of equipment and the horizontal and vertical positions of equipment installation. It can also be applied to small angle measurement and working surface with V-groove. It can also measure the installation parallelism of cylindrical workpieces, and the horizontal and vertical positions of installation.

Main type
Bubble level
The bubble level is a measuring instrument that checks whether the machine mounting surface or flat plate is level, and measures the tilt direction and angle. Its shape is made of high-grade steel. After precision machining, the base of the frame must be flat and the center of the seat surface Equipped with a long and curved glass tube, there is also a horizontal small horizontal glass tube attached to the left end, the tube is filled with ether or alcohol, and there is a small bubble, which is always at the highest point in the tube. There are graduations on both ends of the bubble on the glass cylinder. Usually, when the factory installs the machine, the sensitivity of the commonly used bubble level is 0.01mm/m, 0.02mm/m, 0.04mm/m, 0.05mm/m, 0.1mm/m, 0.3mm/m and 0.4mm/m. That is to put the level on a 1 m long straight gauge or flat plate, when there is a difference in sensitivity indicating size at one end, such as the sensitivity of 0.01 mm/m, it means that the two ends of the straight gauge or flat plate have 0.01 mm The difference in height (equivalent to a difference of 2 seconds between the two ends). When there is a height difference of h mm in a length of 1 m, the bubble will have a scale difference. The principle of the bubble level is to use the bubble in the glass tube, the bubble can always be maintained at the highest position
Electronic level
Electronic level, it is used to measure high-precision machine tools, such as NC lathes, milling machines, cutting machines, three-dimensional measuring machines and other bed surfaces. Its sensitivity is very high. If it is measured, it can be offset by 25 scales. The workpiece can be measured only within a certain tilt range. There are two main principles of electronic level, inductive and capacitive. According to the measurement direction, it can be divided into one-dimensional and two-dimensional electronic level.

Packaging, storage and transportation
The spirit level is a measuring tool with strict packaging requirements. Each level should be packed in a shock-proof box made of foamed material, and be coated with anti-rust oil and packed in a plastic bag before packing. The shockproof box is then put into a solid carton or wooden box, and the outside of the box is brushed with prescribed marks. The spirit level should be stored in a dry, ventilated, and non-corrosive gas warehouse. Avoid drop and rain during transportation.
