Precautions for wall renovation

Note 1: Stir evenly before construction
The latex paint must be stirred evenly before construction, especially for colored latex paint, if it is not stirred evenly, when the color paste in the paint is unevenly dispersed or the color paste precipitates after long storage, the construction will cause decoration The phenomenon of surface blooming affects the decorative effect.
Note 2: Choose the appropriate construction method
There are three main construction methods for latex paint, brushing, rolling and spraying; no matter which kind of painting method, you must pay attention to the use of primer, which can protect the wall and save money. The primer can make the substrate uniformly loose, increase the coating rate of the topcoat, and save the topcoat. The primer is much cheaper than the top coat, so the cost will be less. Secondly, brushing the paint once can help the topcoat improve the fullness of the paint film, making people feel fuller in color and more textured.
Note three, pay attention to the dilution ratio
After the paint is bought back, it must be diluted appropriately. If you want to get the ideal paint film, it is about 15%~20%, please refer to the instructions for details.
Note 4: Number of painting passes and time interval
Some people would think that if the paint is applied more times, the paint will not be stretched and fall off, but in fact, the quality latex paint will not fall off even if it is applied 10 or 20 times. Paint peeling is usually caused by damp and loose putty. In this case, even if it is applied once or twice, it will fall off. However, latex paint does not need to be applied so many times. It is enough to apply the primer and top coat twice through the wall, and the dark paint needs to be painted several times.
As for the time between the two intervals, it is actually the surface drying time of the first coat of latex paint. This is determined by the season and climate at the time. However, according to the national standard for latex paint, the time between the two intervals (ie table Dry time) is less than 2 hours, generally about 20-30 minutes in summer, and about 1 hour to 1.5 hours in winter, and the time is basically not very long.
