Precautions for waxing wooden floors

Precautions for waxing wooden floors
1. Choose the corresponding floor wax according to the type of floor.
Floor wax can be roughly divided into two types: water-based and oil-based.
2. How to remove floor wax
Some common floor wax removers are strongly alkaline. Because the wooden floor is made of wood, alkaline ingredients will cause the floor to discolor and cause stains, so it must not be used. It can be wiped with a cloth dipped in solvent (urea-formaldehyde water).
3. Precautions when laying the floor
The adhesive strength of urea-formaldehyde adhesive is very high, so special attention should be paid. If it sticks to the surface, put a rag soaked with urea-formaldehyde water on it, and cover the rag with a plastic film to soften the adhesive, and then remove it with a bamboo spatula or a plastic spatula.
4. Required tools and materials
Resin floor wax, masking tape, waxing mop, solvent, (urea-formaldehyde accommodating water), bucket, solvent-resistant gloves, rag, plastic spatula, bamboo spatula, vacuum cleaner.
